Celebrating five years of Volunteer Responders
The Volunteer Responders programme launched over 5 years ago on 4 April 2020! Since then, thousands of volunteers have stepped up to help in so many different ways, such as:
- Over 2.7 million tasks completed
- 1.1 million+ Telephone Support calls—helping to reduce loneliness and improve wellbeing
- 1 million+ Community Response tasks—getting essential items to people in need
- 392,000+ Steward shifts—supporting vaccine rollouts
