There are various roles available as part of the Volunteer Responders programme, each has their own activities and guidance.

Community Response

Local shopping or prescription delivery to a person's home or accompanying someone to a social activity in the community.

In Home Support

Improve the health and wellbeing of people receiving support by assisting the person to engage in social activities, hobbies and pastimes in their home.

Telephone Support

You'll be providing friendly telephone calls to improve wellbeing and reduce loneliness and isolation.

Support people by transporting medicine or monitoring equipment to a person's home or another health site.

Support the NHS by transporting medicine or monitoring equipment to a person's home or to another health site. Volunteers will be able to enter the person's home.
