Driving Support Volunteers

Driving Support Volunteers support people who are newly discharged from hospital, are waiting for admission to hospital or are being cared for on a virtual ward by transporting medicine or monitoring equipment. This can either be to the person at home or to another health site.

More volunteer activities will be added as the programme evolves to meet the needs of the NHS and local communities.

You will not require a DBS check to carry out all the activities in this this role  - see levels of checks for more information.
